Haha she was so surprised that i remembered her birthday! Of course i will remember! Such a great friend right:D but i'm so so sorry cos my present failed me. She was supposed to turn up at your house to sing you a birthday song!! but she didn't:( haha. it's okay! that person is none other than---Ho Xiu Xian! heh heh. my present is so cool right:DHappy Birthday Lim Pei Qi! You should have seen your expression yesterday. Priceless. After e-learning, I went out to meet Ariel Guo at outram mrt station. Plan: Crash Pei Qi's house and hide in her closet and say BOO when she opens it. So, our first obstacle was actually getting into her house. Ariel had to contact her brother to let us in but he was still in school. Oh yeah. She stole his number from PQ's phone when she was unaware. So, we needed the maid's help. Haha it was hilarious cos we were downstairs and we were so afraid that PQ would suddenly come home/come out of the lift and see us. We actually looked for a hiding place. I went to hide behind a pillar and Ariel was like, "SO OBVIOUS!!" we ended up peeking from the staircase. There were people waiting for the lift and they were all staring at us like we were some freaks. I think we looked pretty suspicious, acting so sneakily. Oh when the maid came down, she didn't even know if peiqi was at home so she went back to check. and she wasn't. YES! so we went up frantically, afraid that she'll catch us in action. The ariel guo kept saying, "This is so exciting!" HAHA dunno what's her problem. we had a disagreement about hiding our shoes at the top or bottom of the shoe cupboard, and which was more obvious. in the end, we just hid them at the bottom. [the funny thing is that she didn't even open the shoe cupboard!!] we hurried to her room and placed the present on her bed. then we rushed to hide in her closet. Shhhh. 4 mins to 7pm: Hiding...Keeping very quiet...Still hiding...Ariel: What if she gets a heart attack?Me: oh yeah. If it's me, i'll be super freaked out.Ariel: haha me too. i'll scream. (hears footsteps) Shhh.[False alarm. It was her maid who passed us the phone cos her bro called]Tick Tick Tick TickAriel: Is that your watch?
Me: Yeah it's very noisy.Tick Tick Tick TickMe: Haha i've never done this before.Ariel: Neither have i.Tick Tick Tick TickAriel: My butt hurts la.Me: I've got pins and needles..Tick Tick Tick TickAriel: Eh. Did you watch the Grudge?
Me: No! and i don't wanna know!! don't you dare scare me okay.Ariel: haha actually, i didn't watch it too. but i watched the Grudge 2. it happened in the closet.Me: SHUDDUP! (i was gonna scream ald)Ariel was afraid i would scream or back out and decided she should stop scaring me. haha.Tick Tick Tick Tick7.30pm: Still hiding...7.31pm: Ariel: do you think i should call her??
Me: Yeah i think you should. before we die cos of lack of oxygen in here.[we were very worried that she decides not to come home until after dinner at 10pm or something.]We finally got out of that stuffy place and called her. she said she was at the airport and would be coming home in 15mins. Ariel told her we left a present on her bed and it was baked by the both of us. if she doesn't come home soon, it'll turn bad. She told her that cos we were afraid even if she came home, she wouldn't go to her room. and ariel kept emphasizing on the fact that she had to go see the present first. haha then she called me, not knowing both of us were beside each other. in that 15mins, we walked around the house..messed up her closet a little..ate the cookies she baked...heard footsteps!! Ariel guo haven't even finished half the cookie! We practically ran to the closet, making the least noise possible and hid inside. She was finally here!! I was trying so hard not to laugh when she was just a metre away from us, opening her present. which was so NOT baked. haha. so she muttered something and went to open the closet. BOO! AHHH! haha. it was so funny. then she started screaming at us about how we could have died in there. and asked how long we were inside. so we told her about our marvellous plan and went downstairs (her grandma's) for Hainanese chicken rice:DD then we talked for a while in this cool room. haha. i just found it cool. after that, we sang a birthday song for her, ate chocolate cake...declined to be offered kaya cake. and her grandparents were watching ancient chinese shows. Ariel guo just laughed at me half the time cos i asked, "why is that person frozen??" then she opened some of her presents...and found a skirt really suitable for partying!!ahh. it's late. there's dance later and i haven't finished e-learning homework!:OLabels: Happy days, interesting/exciting days
